Sarah looked at the job letter on her kitchen table. She felt worried about the big choice. Moving to Tokyo meant leaving everything she knew. But it was the job she always wanted. Her best friend Maya came that evening to hang out and help her decide. "I tried to weigh the pros and cons all day," Sarah said. "But I can't choose." Maya listened as Sarah talked about her fears. She was scared to move so far away. "You need to pay attention to your feelings," Maya said softly. "This company picked you because you are good at your job." Sarah worried about being alone in a different country. But Maya reminded her about their friendship. "I will help you through thick and thin," she said. "It doesn't matter where you go. We can talk on video every week. I will visit you in Japan too." Sarah said she was worried about speaking Japanese. Maya started laughing. "Are you serious? You're pulling my leg, right? You studied Japanese for three years!" Maya's words made Sarah feel better. "You're right," Sarah said with a smile. "I need to keep my chin up and believe in myself." That evening, Sarah made her choice. She would take the job and start her adventure in Tokyo.
